Hands-on care shaped around your goals

Whether you’re working towards returning to sport, managing an injury or finding everyday movement more challenging, Alex takes an individual approach to understanding your concerns and what you want to achieve.

Alex completed his five-year chiropractic double degree at Murdoch University. His own experiences receiving chiropractic care inspired his interest in the profession and the opportunity to work with people towards their health and movement goals.

He brings a particular interest in dry needling, rehabilitation and athletic taping, combining hands-on care with practical strategies you can use beyond the clinic.

A focus on dry needling and rehabilitation

Dry needling is a key part of Alex’s clinical interests and one of the treatment options he offers alongside chiropractic care.

Your appointment begins with a discussion about your symptoms, health history and goals, followed by an assessment. Alex will explain his findings and discuss suitable options with you, including whether dry needling may be appropriate.

Depending on your needs and preferences, your care may include:

  • Hands-on chiropractic techniques

  • Dry needling

  • Athletic taping

  • Rehabilitation exercises

  • Practical advice for activity and everyday movement

You don’t need to want dry needling to see Alex. Treatment choices are discussed with you and adapted to your comfort, preferences and clinical needs.

Working towards the activities that matter to you

Alex’s interest in rehabilitation means he considers both your current concerns and the activities you want to return to.

That might be getting back on the sporting field, building confidence after an injury, managing the physical demands of work or keeping up with family life. Your goals help guide the plan, with opportunities to review your progress and adapt care along the way.

A connection to regional life

Growing up in rural Malaysia with his grandparents gave Alex a lasting appreciation for community, connection and the resourcefulness of regional life.

Now based in the South West, he values the opportunity to get to know the people and families who make our local communities what they are.

Outside the clinic, Alex enjoys social racquet sports, fishing, exploring Australia’s beaches and discovering new food experiences.
